Amazing place, excellent staff
3 years ago a woman sprayed bug spray in my face and another hit me over the head, I was almost paralyzed and suffered a permanent spinal cord injury. My doctor diagnosed me with severe PTSD from the attack. I had several mood swings, which are symptoms of course, but after knowing this, several San Francisco organizations refuse to accept this, and instead talk down to me and blame me for my reaction. There are many nice people here, but the people in this city are obsessed with their own feelings, and can't see past any perceived slight. Grow up Medithrive, the world is more complicated than you realize.
Prices shown on order are drastically different after they call yo confirm, also the manager named Lorena or Loretta, said she was the only manager that owned the business which I highly doubt, was extremely rude and vague in answering questions. Such bad service I called back and canceled my delivery order. Sad because they seem to carry some good strains, but Def not worth the hidden prices and bad service from the so called manager. If in sf and looking for a better place, I suggest purple star md. They have amazing options, deals and service! Avoid medithrive if you can.
Staff was some of the friendliest I’ve ever met, Nick knocked it out of the park, I genuinely would have sat in there chatting with him for 10 min if there weren’t people waiting to get checked out. Great store, not pretentious, great deals

worst online dispensery ordering experience i've ever had, hands down. got a call i missed due to being away from my phone for a few minutes and then an email vaguely describing an issue. instead of a text they said to call before a certain time before the last delivery goes out , i called back before then and waited on time but they didn't pick up. they didn't let me know they had cancelled the order until 45 minutes later when i finally got a call back, and i explained how this experience was frustrating. the guy on the phone blamed me because he called three times, which wasn't true he had called twice, and either way no other dispensary I've ordered from operates this way. no text, no note indicating the order was cancelled. terrible customer service, was not able to make another order in time before other stores closed. i ordered an hour and a half before this store closed, so it's not like i was doing anything crazy in expecting the delivery to have me covered. the guy on the phone just kept arguing with me and i was giving this feedback and being clear that i was giving feedback on the experience, speaking calmly, and wasn't demanding anything at all. i ended up hanging up on him after he just kept repeating himself and not listening

For security and compliance reasons, California law requires us to verify every delivery order with a live person before it leaves the store. That confirmation call must be completed within the delivery window for our drivers to legally dispatch an order. If we aren’t able to connect, the system automatically cancels for safety and age verification reasons — not as a convenience thing, but as a compliance rule we have to follow. That said, the communication you described should have been clearer. You should never feel like information is being withheld, and you shouldn’t feel blamed when asking for clarification. You visited right after a major storewide sale, and a lot of popular products moved quickly before our next restock window, which can make inventory feel thin for a short period. Just a heads-up for next time: our website shows live inventory, so what you see online is exactly what’s available in-store in real time. New products and restocks hit the menu daily, so selection changes fast. If you order for pickup, you can reserve your items and come to the store knowing it's waiting for you. Robert has quite an attitude over the phone, saying that paying with one of the options they provide is more work for them, and suggesting that I made a mistake when selecting the payment option when their website doesn't provide the right options to be selected (that they offer themselves). Quite frustrating and don't recommend doing business here! It had been a while I didn't shop at Medithrive due to a problem for being mistreated by their in-store management 5 years back, but decided to give them a 2nd chance, and couldn't have validated faster my initial impression that their customer service is very poor! Not worth it! If you aren't sure, go ahead and read the other reviews.

wrongly accused me of stealing, then banned my friend and i, the security guard even going so far as to step outside and threaten to fight her (a 5’5, 120lb black woman) do NOT go here unless you want to be harassed and assaulted. first time in the city as an out of town we and this has been the worse experience of the entire trip so far quite frankly.

You were observed taking a pack of prerolls and putting it into your bag. This incident was recorded on camera. It is store policy to ban any individual or group of individuals observed stealing. Our security guard never threatened you or your friend with violence but rather voiced his frustration with your friends repeated cursing & profanity directed at him. This is a small, family-owned business and we take customer service & security incredibly seriously. Unfortunately, your behavior and the behavior of your friend was inexcusable and we've made the decision to ban you from Medithrive indefinitely. We hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in the Bay!
