I started shopping here a few months ago, and at first everything was great. The owner seemed kind and knowledgeable, and I loved that the store was close to my home. Supporting small businesses is important to me, so I genuinely enjoyed being a customer. However, in recent weeks the owner’s behavior has become inappropriate, unprofessional, invasive, and frankly unacceptable. I was never her biggest spender, but I consistently bought various items like dog food, mushroom coffee, and eggs. During one of my first visits, I purchased a dish soap that I really loved. As a single adult on a budget in this economy, I try to be thoughtful about my purchases. I wanted to give some friends and family the same soap for Christmas, so I reached out to the soap maker to ask about pricing. That was all — simply a price inquiry so I could decide whether it was more budget-friendly to buy directly or through the store. I never asked for a discount, never mentioned the store or the owner, and fully intended to continue shopping at this store. At some point, somehow, the store owner found out. I’m sure the soap maker meant no harm, but once the owner learned I had asked about pricing, she began sending me several rude, invasive, and passive-aggressive messages from her business account, her personal Facebook, and even email. This has continued for nearly three weeks. As a customer, I did not deserve to be confronted and harassed for doing something as simple and normal as comparing prices to stay within my budget. In the end, she told me she was happy to have me stop shopping at her store — and based on this experience, I will.

Yep. I am answering this on Thanksgiving evening. @9:54 pm to be exact.... I'm not sure what your purpose was to do this. First and foremost, thank you for saying I am Kind and Knowledgeable. I appreciate the comment. I have been nothing but kind to you when you have been in the shop and have given you too much information for free..... But here we go again.......another customer who has odd behavior. Now you want to bash me on google reviews. Let's do it. Rude? Invasive? Passive aggressive messages that lasted for 3 weeks??? As you see above, those are your screen shots....right? They are not rude, invasive or passive aggressive.... You sound like you have a victim mentality like all people who get "caught" and can't admit anything when they are confronted. You got in touch with a vendor I have in store, a friend I may add. Cool. I advised you to buy your soap directly from her to save you money. Support her small business. Go do that. It will help my friend and YOU. That is in the screen shots. But...... I wanted to know your full intention on doing so. Did you want to save money or did you want to bash my business later posting my " mark up's". Or, did you want to use this as a bargaining tool to get a cheaper price in store? I just found your behavior odd. Almost sneaky like.. To give you credit, smart move and you have every right to do you. But your actions seemed a little off to be honest. AND YOU ALWAYS ASK FOR DISCOUNTS. You asked if I would have a sale on the soap for the Holidays!!! Really? That is why I said I will not discount the soap due to the craftsmanship. Do you think I just made that up??? To just harass you? That is when you reached out to the vendor. Let's be clear on something else. You have purchsed this particular soap ONE TIME. Not multiple times as you claim in your email to ME.....Who you gonna trust? My Point of Sale or my camera systems that show your purchases, or your word..... Thanks for the screen shots. I said what I said. Thanks for confirming that to the public. You forgot your email to me if you want to be absolutely transparent, I can add that. Honestly, I don't mind you NOT coming into my shop anymore, as I stated in the screen shots. You would continune to be a problem. If not this, then something else. It will Save me time and headaches. I'm not sure what else you stated in the review because it is just a waste of time. It comes down to SOAP! More small business owners need to stick up for themselves. They need to be aware and cautious of "customers" who claim to support small businesses but who actually want to see them fail and will do whatever it takes to do so. Morgan, Morgs or whatever you call yourself....Have the BALLS to open your own business. Pay your mortage/rent, employees, inventory, taxes and all the other things that comes with owning your own business. If I could give more stars, I would. Miranda has gone above and beyond to help me figure out what path to take with my 10 yo that has incontinence and allergy issues, among other age related things. She's listened, asked the right questions I didn't know needed to be asked and she's created a plan for my dog. For once I have hope again not feeling lost and defeated anymore. It shows me she cares deeply about both people and paws showing us the way to better health so I can have many more years with a healthier, happier baby. She's a wealth of knowledge and I would recommend her a thousand times over for any people or animal in need.

My Favorite Wellness Store — Amazing Owner & Always a Great Experience Paws and People Wellness Co. has become one of my absolute favorite places to shop. Every time I come in, the owner and I end up having long, helpful conversations about different products, natural remedies, and what’s best for my pets and myself. She truly takes her time with people and genuinely cares that you’re getting the right things. One of the things I love most is how resourceful she is. If you’re looking for something she doesn’t have in the store, she will always try to find an alternative that she does carry — and if there’s no good substitute, she’ll actually look into ordering it for you. That kind of effort is rare, and it shows how dedicated she is to her customers. The store also has a great rewards system, which makes coming back even better. The products are high-quality, the store smells amazing, and the entire atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. I saw another review that was extremely negative, and while everyone speaks from their own experience, I honestly can’t relate to it at all. The owner has always been nothing but kind, patient, and professional with me. The situation described doesn’t match the person I’ve known — so I truly feel there must have been more to that interaction. I highly recommend this store if you want great service, natural products, and a small business that genuinely cares about people and their pets. I’ll continue supporting them 100%. 🐶🫶🌸🌺🌷🌺🌻

Title: Great Products & Knowledge, But Owner Misconduct Ruined a Positive Relationship with an Unfair Ban I feel compelled to share my complete experience with Paws and People Wellness store as it was both overwhelmingly positive initially and incredibly disappointing in the end. For three months, I was a loyal and frequent customer. I found the owner and staff to be incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, particularly as I sought to transition my purchasing habits to support local businesses. The owner and I connected deeply through several long conversations about pet and wellness topics. In fact, because I felt I was taking up too much of their business time inside the store, I suggested we meet for lunch to continue our discussions about their products and other topics of mutual interest. My experience was fantastic, and I was genuinely excited to become a long-term customer. This positive relationship took an abrupt and shocking turn following a workshop I attended on September 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. During the herbal tincture mixing workshop, I was engaged in a mutual, friendly conversation with another paying patron. They asked my personal opinion about an issue their pet was having. Driven by compassion and empathy, I shared that I had experienced the exact same issue and mentioned a specific online product/veterinarian that had helped my pet. Crucially, I also immediately referred them to the high-quality products carried by Paws and People Wellness. My intent was purely helpful and friendly. Two days later, I was banned from the store via email. I was accused of trying to direct customers to competitor businesses. Despite multiple email attempts to clarify that my intent was purely helpful and friendly, and that I was still a committed customer, the owner insisted on the ban. The issue here is the store's conduct: 1. The owner eavesdropped on a private conversation between two patrons. 2. They completely misrepresented my intent, which was rooted in empathy and general community sharing. 3. The owner imposed an extremely harsh and unwarranted lifetime ban. This action completely disregards the positive and friendly relationship we had established, proving the relationship felt like a "bait-and-switch." 4. At no point in our previous long conversations, where I openly discussed my current online purchases, did the owner ever communicate that talking about outside products with other patrons was a bannable offense. While the products and knowledge are 5-star quality, the lack of professional communication, the rude act of eavesdropping, and the willingness to completely ruin a positive long-term customer connection over a simple, good-faith conversation warrant a significant reduction in the service rating.

This place is amazing! Miranda went out of her way to assist me in getting my sweet Bella back to health after a cancerous tumor was removed with her spleen following a rupture. It’s amazing how well she is doing and how helpful Miranda has been through the process! Thank you for being my Bella’s earth angel!
