On November 4 at 10:00 in the morning I went to this place and suffered discrimination because of my sexual orientation they should put an ad if you have something against the community elgtb I don't want
Antonia, We're actually a LGBTQ-owned business and inclusivity is part of who we are. Many of our team members also identify within the LGBTQ+ community, and we strive every day to make our space welcoming and safe for everyone, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, or background. We take all feedback very seriously and have reviewed the security footage of the interaction this morning. In this situation, there was a misunderstanding- the sale was denied due to state law. When two people are shopping together for age-restricted products, we’re legally required to verify ID for both individuals. If one person doesn’t have valid ID (one of you did not), we cannot proceed with the sale, even if the other person is over 21. We understand that this policy can be frustrating or confusing, but it is MN law.
