There's not much to choose from that place is weak
We're sorry to hear that —we totally get the frustration. As Kentucky's brand-new program just launched, we're starting with a small supply of in-state grown flower to get patients the medicine they need, but more strains and product types are coming very soon as production ramps up. Thank you for the feedback and for giving us a try—we hope you'll stop back when options expand!
Good price for the quality of this product! Everyone was super friendly and helpful with all the questions I had. Very grateful to have this so close to home
Thank you so much for the kind review! We're thrilled you found great value in the quality and that our team was friendly and helpful with your questions. It's wonderful to hear how convenient this is for you—your support means a lot as we serve our local community. Can't wait to see you again soon!
The staff were very polite. 50 dollars for an eight and it was garbage. The state of Kentucky is NOT going to do anything at all about curbing illegal sales if that's what they're offering. I suggest if you want to buy marijuana legally, get it from another state. I will never drive that far out of the way again for mediocre product that is extremely over priced
We're truly sorry to hear about your disappointment with the product and pricing—we take your feedback seriously and understand the frustration. As Kentucky's brand-new program just launched, initial supply is limited. We're committed to improving options and quality as more product comes online soon. Thank you for giving us a try despite the drive—we hope you'll reconsider when new products arrive.
Great soft roll-out! This is Kentucky after all, and we finally did it. I stood in line for a bit on Saturday but ran out of time and got in right before closing on Wednesday. Thanks start with the great medicinal marijuana advocate Gatewood Galbraith (RIP) and continue with the current Governor, state legislators, the patients who spoke out and the KYMEDCAN team. Thank you to the growers, compliance analysts, processors, dispensary owners and bud-tenders. I’ve had product from CA, CO, IL and MI and as a Kentuckian, I’m proud of the first batch Farmtucky put out. It was exciting to be a part of history. Looking forward to more stellar Kentucky grown product. Excellent job everyone at The Post!
Thank you so much for this heartfelt review and for being part of Kentucky's historic medical cannabis launch! We're incredibly grateful for your patience, pride in our in-state grown product, and shoutout to everyone who made this possible. Welcome to the family, and we can't wait to see you again for more Kentucky-grown goodness!
I’ve now been involved in openings across 11 states, and I can confidently say this is by far the worst rollout I’ve witnessed. I maintain detailed records on product availability, pricing, and quality from nearly every state launch I’ve been part of, so this assessment is based on data, not opinion. On opening day in other states, the average price for 28 grams was $210.86, with products that were objectively higher quality and potency. What is happening here is not the result of startup costs, it is clear price gouging and an attempt to take advantage of a Commonwealth state and its residents. In no other state, including those opening their very first dispensary, have I ever seen a launch with only a single flower product available, especially one priced at a premium while offering lower THC. Cannabis is not a one-size-fits-all product. Different strains exist for a reason. Certain strains can cause extreme anxiety, depression or worse in many patients, while other strains provide significant relief. Limiting access to appropriate options actively harms the very people this industry is meant to serve. This is not helping your people, you're harming them. Opening without adequate product diversity or availability is irresponsible and fundamentally wrong. At this point, the recommendation is simple: continue to go out state and avoid this market for at least a year. Allow companies to source properly, build legitimate operations, and provide products that genuinely help people, rather than exploiting them.
We're sorry for your disappointment and appreciate your expertise from other state launches. As Kentucky's first dispensary (opened Dec 13, 2025), we're limited to flower options from new in-state growers, with higher early costs for a regulated program. More strains and products are coming soon—prices should improve as supply grows. Thanks for your feedback! We're here to listen and help.
I had an excellent first time experience at The Post. All of the staff members were friendly and very helpful. They answered all of my questions and I was in and out in a timely manner. Excellent but limited product. New products are coming soon! Thank you all for making this a safe and comfortable experience. I definately will be a return customer!
50 for a 1/8 is high
We're sorry you feel the price is high—we completely understand the sticker shock, especially comparing to more established markets. As Kentucky's brand-new medical cannabis program just launched, the price reflects the high startup costs of a fully regulated, in-state, tested supply chain with very limited initial supply. We're committed to patient access, and as production ramps up and more growers come online, we fully expect prices to improve. Thank you for your feedback—it helps us push for better options. We hope you'll give us another visit soon!
They claim that the limit is because of limited avaiability. Really its a way to over charge people. $50 for an eighth is wild. Sad to see people being taken advantage of when states like Michigan offer superior quality and better prices. One should remember most patients have had to go out of state until now. We have seen what other states are doing and charging. See photos for example. We should demand better.
We're sorry for your frustration. As Kentucky's brand-new program launched this last weekend, supply is very limited from in-state growers, with purchase limits to help more patients access medicine early on. The $50/eighth price reflects the high startup costs of a regulated, tested supply chain—common in new medical states. We're committed to patient care and prices should improve as production grows and more options arrive. Thanks for the photos and feedback—it helps us advocate. Please reach out—we're here to support you.
