The Happy Cactus - Downtown

This little pink building has a lot of character on the inside, including the amazing staff. For a small store it has a nice selection! They even have some super cute ashtrays, candles and t shirts etc that would make great gifts. Everyone that works there helps you with a big smile and lots of knowledge on their products. They have a rewards system as well so you can simply give them your phone number to save money each visit! I highly recommend stopping by Happy Cactus!

I usually have a really great experience here with the young man who is often at the counter! Today the staff was different as was my experience. Products are great always, but the woman at the counter today was gruff and unwelcoming. I think it’s because she thought I was underage but that should’ve been solved after I showed her my ID. I told her what I got last time, hoping for recommendations… crickets. Nothing crazy but I definitely did not feel welcome today. Not sure if I’ll be back!

I want to give more stars. The guy I talked to was awesome and we had a really good talk. However, the product itself was very dry and not very good. As we finished it, I realized the jar had huge cracks on the bottom and all up the side of the jar behind the sticker. it's cracked all the way through, that sticker might be holding it together. So, it makes sense that even sealed it it had air get in. I liked the guy but I can't give more stars for a bum product. Sorry yall.

I usually buy online at a different store but one day I need a restock asap so I found this place and it’s got such good quality and variety of stuff it’s my new regular spot! Love seeing the new stuff they have :)

Great dispensary! Good selection and friendly staff. They always seem happy to be there. They have a generous reward program to reward loyal customers — much appreciated!! Don’t love being asked for a tip when purchasing at a counter, but guess that’s the culture now Parking is always easy!

Thank you for supporting regulation and not a ban on THC products in Texas. As a person with chronic pain it's nice to have support. Yes there are some bad products. Had one gummy from a convince store and don't remember much for the next 8 hours. That being said 1 bad item in several years is one too many. Support regulation and age limit. Thank you for being the voice for South Austin.
