PONO LIFE MAUI

This is one of the worst ran companies in Maui County. Many residents on West Maui need this kind of medicine post fire to include kapuna and people with clinically diagnosed anxiety and complex PTSD. This is the first bad review I’ve ever left on a Lahaina business because I am an entrepreneur and I love business, however this business is disrespecting our community by mismanaging it’s business and collecting our hard earned tax dollars. I have asked repeatedly to talk to the owner and the manager DJ is filled with apologies but no action. I’m beginning to really wonder about this operation and hope whoever licensed them can open an investigation so the people in Lahaina that need this business open can have services provided. There is a very professional company if anybody needs it called Maui Grown Therapies. You will not believe it if you go into their office in Wailuku. They are always open, they answer the phone, and they call people back. Most of all they are friendly have integrity and I like that. Bring Maui Grown back to Lahaina ❤️

Lost a customer after today. Such an affordable accessible location for medicine but the lady who works at the Lahaina location is never there during what is supposed to be normal open hours. It seems like she probably has a buddy buddy relationship with the owners because I’ve heard this has been going on for a long time, but at least add a section on the website for her to tell us when she is going to miss so we don’t waste our time driving to the shop. Life happens but please have some respect for us too.

Now that they sell Big Island Grown products, this is a great spot. Their own grown products are not worth buying. Stick to the Big Island Grown and you’ll love them.

I got there at opening time. I was let in but told what I wanted hasn't been logged to sell. Hetold me to come back. His lunch was from 12 to 1:30 so we waited. I started knocking at 1:25 no answer but at 1:35 he came out and said he had closed for the day. This is for my cancer treatment and that was so rude

Apparently they have one staff member so when that person is sick the store closes indefinitely. That is a completely irresponsible way to run a medical marijuana dispensary. People have legitimate medical needs and they are the only open dispensary on this side of the island. There are only two companies with the privilege of having a license to sell medical marijuana in Maui and Pono Life is one of them. If they can't take that responsibility seriously then they should get out of the way for people who can. This is the type of thing that gets people fined in other states. From one industry professional to another: shame on you.
