I’ve been a regular customer at this dispensary for several years and have always appreciated the wide variety of products, the renovations, and the generally helpful staff. Unfortunately, my most recent visit left me uncomfortable. While I was explaining an issue with a product, the clerk repeatedly referred to me as a ‘pothead/stoner.’ Even after I clarified that this wasn’t the case, the comment was repeated several times. I understand it may have been intended as a joke, but it came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I did not feel comfortable being labeled as something I am not or being told I can’t go a day without getting high. It is never a staff member’s place to label customers in this way—it’s insulting and unprofessional, and it raises questions about what staff may be saying about customers behind their backs if such comments are made so casually at the counter. The experience was especially discouraging since I had just visited the day before to exchange a product. I also struggle with social anxiety and had to build myself up to return, which made the repeated comments even harder to hear
