We are very sorry you had a bad experience. We do our best to keep prices as low as possible, but taxes are out of our control and remain extremely high at the state and city level. A medical card does lower the tax, and the MMIC card issued by the Department of Public Health has the lowest rate, though even that is higher than it should be. We believe medical purchases should have very little to no tax at all. We are one of the few family owned dispensaries left that has been around since Prop 215, the start of medical dispensaries, and since Prop 64 adult use cannabis passed are now being taken over by big corporations with multiple locations. Our small team often does the work of two or three people while continuing to focus on providing great service. We truly appreciate our customers and hope you give us another chance.
