Hi Benjamin, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. We totally understand the sticker shock if you're coming from markets like Oregon or Washington — New York’s state-regulated pricing is definitely different, and unfortunately it’s not something individual dispensaries can control. Here at The Shady Grove, we choose to work closely with smaller New York legacy and craft farms that produce superior, hand-crafted products. We intentionally stay away from the large MSOs who can undercut these growers simply because of their scale and deep pockets. Supporting local cultivators means a better product and a healthier New York cannabis ecosystem, but it does come with different pricing than what you may see out West. We’re always happy to walk anyone through our menu, products, and any current deals to help them find the best fit. We’re sorry we didn’t get the chance to assist you further during your visit, but we appreciate the feedback and hope you’ll stop by again next time you’re in the area. Safe travels and take care!
