We completely understand that being ID’d can feel unnecessary, especially when it’s clear you’re well above the legal age. That said, our team is required by law to check a valid ID for every age-restricted purchase, every single time. We’re always looking for ways to improve and streamline the process. Recently, we started using a state-developed app from the Department of Revenue’s Alcoholic Beverage Division that connects directly to the national driver’s license database. The app simply verifies age, it doesn’t store or retain any of your personal information, and even supports digital IDs where available. As our team gets more familiar with it the process should become even faster. With the state ramping up compliance checks it’s important to us that Generation V continues to lead the way in responsible sales and keeps our licenses secure so we can continue serving our guests for years to come.
