THCa in North Carolina: Legal
G.S. 90-87(16) excludes 'hemp or hemp products' from the definition of marijuana, and 90-87(13a) defines hemp by 'a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than three-tenths of one percent (0.3%) on a dry weight basis' — delta-9 alone, with no post-decarboxylation requirement. The largest verified legal market remaining.
Separately, the federal hemp definition changes on November 12, 2026, when total THC replaces delta-9 as the test and finished products are capped at 0.4 mg of total THC per container. That applies nationwide regardless of state law.

Modern Apotheca is my go to place for all things flower, THCA, and cbd. They have great pricing and super friendly customer service! Wouldn’t go anywhere else in Raleigh. There is also plenty of parking and it’s really easy to drive to being off of Falls of the Neuse.
